Empowering recovery and renewal at Wayside House of Hamilton
Our live-in treatment program is designed to meet the unique needs and challenges of every healing journey.
Core Program
Live-In Treatment
A comprehensive, live-in program consisting of group sessions, one-on-one case management and individualized recovery modules. Groups are built around Helping Men Recover, a psychoeducational program that examines the effects of addiction and the lifelong process of recovery.
Our supplementary programs offer specialized care for live-in enrollees in need of extra support.

Supportive Housing
Private market subsidized rental units for graduates of our live-in program whom we determine are in significant need of ongoing intensive recovery support and programming.

Continuing Care
Part of our “Forever Aftercare” promise, all live-in program graduates are invited to weekly in-person and virtual recovery groups facilitated by our Peer Support staff.

Family Support
Family members and loved ones are invited to participate in the recovery journey via specialized education materials and collaborative treatment and transition planning sessions.
Our multidisciplinary Hep C team provides comprehensive care to anyone living with or at risk of acquiring Hep C
Core Program
Hep C Program
From outreach and testing to treatment and case management, our Hep C team offers wraparound care irrespective of age, gender, housing or addiction status. Our service extends across Hamilton through partnerships with community agencies such as shelters, drop-in centres and withdrawal management services.

Wayside House of Hamilton is funded by the Ministry of Health and the generous support of our community partners. We are a proud member of Addictions & Mental Health Ontario, an integrated system of 150 service providers across the province. We have been accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation since 2016, a designation that signifies our commitment to compassionate, quality service.
